The obvious difference between a .info and .com domain is cost - from the likes of godaddy.com .info is about $1 and .com about $10 US. Other differences - as .com has been around for a while there are fewer names available but conversely .coms are concidered more authorative i.e. more likely to be taken seriously. There is also some evidence that some countries block all .infos. For a pr my belief is that the name and its suffix are not important - the important this is - does the pr work As an experiment I created several .com and .info and advertised them exactly the same and released them at the same time. After watching the results of these pr for a week (the only way that matters - earnings per domain) I noticed no difference at all. So this persons recommendation, save your money and buy .info .
